It occurred to me the other day that I don’t have any kind of a disclaimer on this blog, and figured it was about time I gave it some thought. So, after mulling it over for a few days, here it is:
My posts are never written with the purpose of intentionally offending anyone. I don’t hesitate to mention peoples’ first names in posts and refer to people by name often. I try to write every post with the idea in mind that anyone mentioned will read it. That way, if I mention you and you DO read it, hopefully you won’t be offended.
If you don’t want to be mentioned by name in my blog, let me know. It’s no big deal. If I say something about you that you don’t like, give me the benefit of the doubt. Chances are I was trying to be funny and failed. And don’t be all mopey and passive/aggressive about it, telling everyone but me. Let me know it bugs you so I can fix it or delete it.
Okay. Moving right along. I make no claims to expertise. I have an imperfect memory and the primary purpose of this blog is as a training diary for myself. By all means, take what works for you and discard the rest. If you get something useful out of the information posted here, fantastic. But don’t blame me if it doesn’t work. Chances are, I didn’t catch an important detail. Of course, if I do describe something incorrectly or you disagree with something I’ve posted, please post a comment.
Techniques, training descriptions, and theories posted on this blog are mostly my own recollections and ideas on what I’ve learned and experienced. Where they are not my original ideas I try to give credit where due. If I’ve unintentionally neglected to do so, please let me know so I can fix my mistake.
Finally, things described in this blog may be dangerous if attempted by you. Whether that’s direct personal risk posed by dangerous acts or indirect personal risk when you show up at home with a broken nose and your wife or husband kills you. So, if you choose to try anything mentioned in this blog, you do so at your own risk.
